Superficially In Depth

How many encounters have you had with opinionated individuals? Not to generalize but I’m sure you found their stance lacking substance. What was your exasperation quotient? Generally, people with strong views are regarded to be well read, informed, professionals and authorities on the subject they speak or advocate for. They are described as people characterized by conceited assertiveness and dogmatism and usually arrogant. From the above, it can be noted that most opinionated people receive negative perception. They wield such great influence. They have huge followings who blindly hero worship and adhere to their opinion. The Cats in My House

I am not particularly fond of felines. Of any kind. Extremely not fond. What with their shining multicoloured eyes, claws and inquisitive nature? But I have cats in my house.  Ones that steal my fish and meat, disturb my sleep at night with their baby-like cries. Sometimes even scratch my door as if I owe them. Yes, you guessed right, the cats in my ho...

But what exactly is this rush for? Popularity, wealth, status, power or satisfaction.  This rush could have both negatives and positives, but it seems we are always seeing the negative sides. The marriage fever seems to be catching the youth like the plague. The normal complaints; everyone is getting married, my mates from uni are mostly married or engaged, that ugly girl from SHS is married to a rich man with kids, then I too must get married at all cost.  The rationale behind marriage is not to show off neither is it compulsory to get married once you get to a certain age. It is a holy institution designed by God for a purpose. So yes marriage is good but why the rush.  Primary school children these days are engaged in amorous relationships because it seems to be the new norm and in the senior hig...
