TAKING STEPS.
We’ve heard this quote a million times, ‘a journey of thousand miles begins with a step’, yet it’s truthfulness cannot be overemphasized.
Every single thing that we do in life an action has to be taken. Also in making a decision an effort has to be made, a step.
Basically in all we do the first step, effort, intention something, has to be made.
In building a structure, regardless of its purpose, a step has to be taken. A decision has to be made to suit the purpose, location and style.
Whether it will be for private or commercial use and if private or personal, would it accommodate guests, what type of guests will you be accepting into your sanctuary?
If the number of available options are considered are and can be overwhelming, one might decide not to begin the project at all or procrastinate.
I met a man who told me that where you are born determines the religion you eventually believe in and practice. But lets build on this, I believe there are levels of growth in religion and all across all spiritualities.
To attain this heights if one so desires, it takes a step. It takes a step in discipline in study, possibly meditation, prayer, fasting and other spiritual activities to be able to attain the desired spiritual height.
This same principle applies in deciding on pursuing higher education as well as in marriage.
The betterment and success of both your education and marriage depends on the decisions you determine to take and your determination, commitment and zeal towards the attainment of your vision and goals in that regard.
In governance there are so many issues that needs to be addressed by an authority and a very large number of people to please.
But if the daunting task of pleasing every electorate to secure reelection was strictly considered, then i don't think positive decisions that drive nations would have been effected.
There might be times in your life when a destination, a plan, goal or vision might seem unattainable. And on the other hand, you might feel lazy or unmotivated to make a move.
In these two scenarios a move has not been made though the good in the ultimate realization of the proposed vision is known.
What exactly are you waiting for? Take that step! Own the decision. Unless it requires you to take time and plan before execution, take the plunge, go for it.
To fail at something gives you an experience you can use when you try the next time but taking the plunge in your imaginary world only, would leave you the same, no experience, nothing.
Take a step! Even this piece is a step, everything begins with a step.
Cheers!
Good piece, yeah our challenge is we look at the failure more than taking the step first.
