HEADACHES.
As I write this piece right now, I have a very terrible headache (that is if you believe me🙃), and it got me thinking about what causes headache.
If I had typed this into a search engine I'm sure there will be a ton of responses.
But since I had some eye irritation related issues, I always blame my headaches on that.
Others will say they experience headaches when they go hungry for a long time, I have personally experienced this too a few times.
And as a colleague read off my shoulder, he jokingly asked me if I'm sure I'm not constipated.
I laughed really hard at this because that never even came to mind initially.
But this is what I learnt from my headache, its a warning and a signal. A warning that something is wrong somewhere and a signal that an action that has been neglected has to be taken.
We usually throw the phrase ‘…becoming a headache’ around when things repeatedly don't go our way.
When a headache sounds a warning, it is cautioning you to check yourself.
Don't blame every difficulty you face on others, it could be a signal for you to change certain things about yourself.
Your approach to handling people, yourself, your interests in fact everything that concerns you and that gives you a ‘headache’ could bring you relief from that same headache.
I later realized my headache was out of tiredness and the glare from the computer screen I had been glued to.
In what form do you experience life’s numerous headaches?
An accident, a terrible illness or being fired from work, see all these as cautions against something you might be doing wrong or a move you should not be making or even a push to change direction.
Take a step back and have a personal life cleanse. Take some toxics out and bring in fresh, positive energy.
See life’s headaches as cautionary signs and repair the worn out aspects of your life for better enjoyment.
Cheers to headache free days!
