Contents of the Container.
We would all agree that a well packaged product, especially
food is hard to pass for a shabbily packaged one. Imagine a well garnished
grilled tilapia and a burnt almost black tilapia at a buffet, what would be
your choice without having a first taste of either.
And then after making your choice, taking two small bites of
the accompanying banku, you take your first bite of either the delicious
looking or burnt tilapia and hmmm!
The well garnished one is soggy on the inside! The burnt
tilapia is nicely done! There and then you will see and appreciate the power of
packaging.
What informs your final choice in making a purchase, the destination of a vacation, to accept a job offer, or make any decision?
The contents or the container?
The speaker who inspired this piece said, whether you buy the milo in a polythene or
can, at the end of the day what’s important is that you have milo. If you have
an empty can no matter how attractive and in good condition it is in, you have
nothing. Nothing!
Supposing America losses what makes it America, will it
still be the America?
That is not to say it’s bad to look attractive or beautiful but when the beauty is not matched on the inside, ah na so so problem!
The outward will do its best to attract but it befalls the
inward, the inside, the contents to sustain the interest.
Cheers!
